Officedrop are suppliers of fresh fruit, healthy snacks, milk, tea, coffee as well as flowers to workplaces nationwide.
HMF had previously carried out a successful refrigeration mezzanine project for one of Officedrops business partners and were highly recommended. Office drop needed a fast track fit out of an old industrial unit near Woolwich ferry and wanted one company to handle the entire process.
They needed refrigeration units for fresh fruit but didn’t want to lose usable floor space hence the requirement for a mezzanine floor over these.
The existing toilets were inadequate and needed total replacement.
The depot needed office and kitchen facilities for the staff and these were positioned on the floor over the existing toilet block.
The new mezzanine gave them space for pallet storage and offices above their packaging areas and cold storage with a great central location to service the London area.
The mezzanine floor was 386m2 with a 3.06 m high finished floor level and 4.8kN/m2 loading with two separate staircases.
The client is very happy with the completed works which were carried out within programme over 8 weeks spanning over the Christmas shut down period and we look forward to helping Ben again as his business expands.
