Linwood Fabrics have a large warehouse with various types of storage equipment ranging from pallet racking to longspan systems and mezzanine storage platforms which HMF have historically maintained and modified.
Recently Linwood Fabric required a fit out for extending the current cutting facilities and HMF has provided new single skin solid/glass/solid steel partitioning to form an enlarged cutting room area.
HMF also specified a double channel rail barrier system to protect this partitioning forming a corridor so that fork lift truck activity would not impact on the partitioning in this area.
Part of the project was to modify existing pallet racking and provide new splices to extend the racking in height using existing materials. This was then installed using new pallet racking materials and safety column guard protectors.
To the rear of this racking an anti-collapse mesh partition was formed with 150mm standoff brackets that therefore set back the mesh screen away from the back of the racking to enable pallets to be sited with the pallets overhanging the back beams.
