Passenger Clothing Ltd based in New Milton, Hampshire needed to make better use of their warehouse due to business growth and also wanted to improve their customer journey through their building.
HMF came up with a concept to extend into their existing  warehouse with a new mezzanine floor to create much needed additional office space and to open up their cramped Reception area into a more welcoming experience for their visitors.
A new mezzanine floor and 1 hour fire protection to the new mezzanine floor was installed, along with a new full height jumbo stud wall erected around the perimeter of the new mezzanine floor to provide an enclosed working area and a fire wall to satisfy the latest Building Control requirements. By using the full height of the building this gave a spacious feel to the new working environment.
HMF also created a new entrance door at the ground and first floor levels to enable better ease of access and communication for their staff and to also join up the warehouse area to the front existing offices.
With the Reception area refurbishment, HMF removed some dividing walls to open up the area and installed a new raised access floor with some feature black perimeter hand railing to the exposed perimeter. HMF also installed new vinyl floor tiles and an oak step into the area, providing a complete transformation.
The works were done in phased stages to allow the customer to continue working during the fit out project and to also minimise disruption to the business. The completion of the fit out project has transformed their building and provided Passenger with a more flexible and comfortable journey to continued success.
