NEP required additional office space to an existing first floor office with a workshop/storage area underneath.
A mezzanine floor with fire rated protection including a 1 hour fascia, 1 hour column casings & 1 hour suspended ceilings were installed by HMF.
On the mezzanine the first floor office ceiling was hung from a 15m high roof which involved a complex subgrid.
New LED lighting with PIR controls was installed & new carpet laid.
285m² of additional office space was created linked with a new breakthrough by HMF into the existing offices.
Double skin steel partitions were specified to keep mess and dust to a minimum in areas of all their technical lorries with complex external broadcasting kit.
A separate partitioned area under the existing concrete mezzanine created a new storage space with anti-static vinyl raised floor tiles with an access ramp for trolleys.
All the works were constructed in a busy operational warehouse in a 10 week programme.
