When Hi Technology Group Ltd were thinking about expansion and wanted advice as to the suitability of an additional building locally, they contact Hampshire Mezzanine Floors for advice, having used HMF for many years for mezzanine floors and pallet racking solutions in their existing premises.
After a full and thorough site survey, initial layout plans were prepared to show the various racking layout options that could be achieved. The aim was to maximise the number of required pallet locations whilst leaving some of the area for production purposes. After discussions regarding the type of fork lift truck they were going to use in this area, HMF managed to propose a suitable layout offering 42 bays of Dexion P90+ pallet racking to store mainly standard pallets of finished goods.
The Dexion P90+ pallet racking system is the latest Dexion racking design, offering great value at a top specification with local servicing and maintenance by HMF. HMF also advised on appropriate rack protection and safety signage for the installation.
HMF were awarded the project & installed 42 bays of Dexion racking, 5m high and used 2.7m wide beams able to hold up to 2600kg per pair of beams to suit their pallet specifications.
The racking was installed in just 3 days from start to finish, with HMF providing all required unloading & installation plant.
The new racking system provided to Hi Technology Group allowed their goods to be stored efficiently, safely and met their very high safety standards for installation.
The installation was installed on time and to the original budget.
