Another Yesss for HMF but this time from overseas
Electrical wholesale company Yesss Electrical Ltd, once again used Hampshire Mezzanine Floors for their refurbishment project. On this occasion, for their Guernsey branch in the Channel Islands, HMF completed a trade counter and office refurbishment.
Main contractor Hampshire Mezzanine Floors, who have completed many jobs in the Channel Islands over the last 26 years provided a survey and came up with plans that included structural modifications to the existing building to allow a new window to be fitted between the trade counter and office areas through a very thick load bearing granite wall some 550 mm thick with all necessary support lintels.
HMF also created an air lock using a combination of full height partitioning and PVC strip curtains to segregate the trade counter/office areas from the warehouse where cold air movement from goods-in was alleviated. HMF provided new fully glazed automatic entrance doors with infra-red control for ease of access for YESSS Electrical customers carrying materials
Hampshire Mezzanine Floors undertook the complete shop fit-out providing new special glazed display cabinets, slatwall display panelling and a new high-specification counter.
A feature bulkhead was fitted in matt black above the counter to enable an aesthetically pleasing finish for the trade counter aspect of the project.
Furthermore, a specialist coffee cabinet was fitted to in order to ensure Yesss Electrical’s customers are able to enjoy refreshments whilst visiting the site.
New vertical blinds were fitted to the external windows to match the interior décor. The flooring provided by HMF was a combination of ceramic tiling to the trade counter area to withstand heavy foot traffic and heavy duty contract grade carpets to the office areas.
The project was completed ahead of programme and resulted in a very pleasant environment for both staff and customers.
